This mark will have the following characteristics:

1) It will be the name of the beast
2) It will be the number representing his name
3) It will be the number of a man
4) The number is 666
Let’s address each of these aspects individually in order to gain a firm grasp of their intended meaning:

The Name of the Beast

Who is the beast? Traditionally, “the name of the beast” is interpreted as being the name of the Antichrist, who is clearly referenced in verses 11-18 of Revelation Chapter 13 (this topic will be addressed in-depth in a later article). However, in these verses, the Antichrist is described as a second beast who exercises “all the authority of the first beast.” The first beast is described in verses 1-10 of the same chapter, but this beast does not represent the Antichrist as some believe, but rather the world empire the Antichrist will rule.

We know this because the first beast has “seven heads and ten horns” (verse 1), and this is a beast students of bible prophecy have seen before.In the Book of Daniel, we are introduced to him as “the fourth beast,” a global empire that will destroy everything in its path:

Does this fourth world power sound familiar? It has “ten horns” (Rev 13:1) and will trample everything in its path, probably prompting people to ask “Is there anyone as great as the beast? Who is able to fight against him?” (Rev 13:4). It will also devour “the whole world,” gaining authority over “every tribe and people and language and nation” (Rev 13:7)

We also learn that the Antichrist will “require all the earth and those who belong to this world to worship the first beast, whose death wound had been healed” (Rev 13:12). Who is this beast whose death wound has been healed? The wounded beast who will be resurrected is the fourth beast in Daniel 7 – the world empire of ancient Rome, which was never completely destroyed like previous world empires. In the last days, the Roman Empire will appear once again, and the world will marvel at its appearance.

Daniel confirms this when he states that the Antichrist will be a ruler from the people who destroy the Temple in A.D. 70 (Daniel 9:26). The Romans destroyed the Temple, and they will have a ruler once again in the last days, confirming that the Roman Empire must once again exist.

The Book of Revelation also predicts this resurrection of Rome:

“Five kings have already fallen, the sixth now reigns, and the seventh is yet to come, but his reign will be brief.” Revelation 17:10 (NLT)

2) Assyria
3) Babylonia

7) The Revived Roman Empire

In the last days, this resurrected Roman Empire will rule all of humanity. Its reign will be brief, but it will be like no other kingdom before it.

The Antichrist will require all the earth and those who belong to this world to worship the revived Roman Empire, a global government that will rule “over every tribe and people and language and nation” (Rev 13:7)

So the “name of the beast” described in Revelation 13:17 is not the name of the Antichrist as widely believed, but instead, it will be a name associated with the world empire he requires the world to worship.

The Number Representing His Name

If the mark of the beast is “the name of the beast,” how can it also be “the number representing his name”? Ancient Greek and Hebrew, the two languages most associated with the Book of Revelation, both used an alphanumeric system in which each letter of the alphabet correlates with a number. What verse 18 reveals is that the mark, which is the name of the beast, will have a numeric value that can be calculated as the number 666. The only way to “calculate” this number is if it appears as letters that need to be interpreted in a numerical form. Therefore, we can say with certainty that the mark of the beast will not be a literal brand of “666,” but rather it will be a word or a phrase which when converted into its numerical equivalent will represent the number 666.

How this is properly calculated depends on whether or not John originally wrote the Book of Revelation in Greek or Hebrew. Tradition says he originally wrote the book in Greek. However, a strong case has been made that the book was originally written in Hebrew, then quickly translated into Greek. Not knowing for sure multiplies the difficulty of calculating the number of the beast, because each letter of the Greek and Hebrew alphabet is associated with a different numerical value.

The Number of a Man

If the number 666 represents the revived Roman Empire and not a man (the Antichrist) as traditionally believed, then why does verse 18 say, “…for it is the number of a man”? The answer is that some translations interpret this verse as “…for it is the number of humanity.” Either way, in both cases, the verse can be interpreted as “mankind” or the “entirety of the human race.” If this is the case, it tells us that the number 666 will not only be the name of the beast (the revived Roman Empire), but it will also be reflective of the entire human race, especially those who freely chose to accept it on their right hand or forehead.

When Daniel conveys God’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the empires of the world are symbolized in the form of a statue – a statue of a man.

“Your Majesty, in your vision you saw in front of you a huge and powerful statue of a man, shining brilliantly, frightening and awesome.” Daniel 2:31 (NLT)

The association of this statue with mankind and world government provides a strong indication that the mark of the beast is more akin to the number of humanity, rather than any particular individual.

The Number is 666

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible associates certain numbers with an overall theme. The number six is often associated with mankind. For instance, man was created on the sixth day. Similarly, the number seven is often associated with perfection and rest. For instance, God rested on the seventh day.

In contrast to the number seven, six is viewed as highly symbolic of incompletion or imperfection. Just as man has “fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), the number six is symbolic of man’s shortfall of the perfection of God’s seven.

When the number six is repeated three times in the number 666, many believe it’s indicative of Satan’s attempt to imitate the trinity.

The Price of Accepting the Mark of the Beast

The Antichrist and his followers will pay a hefty price for accepting the mark of the beast. The Bible tells us that ALL who accept the mark of the beast will face eternal judgment for their decision. The following verses reveal the consequences of this rebellion against God:

    “Then a third angel followed them, shouting, ‘Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or the hand must drink the wine of God’s wrath. It is poured out undiluted into God’s cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb. The smoke of their torment rises forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:9-11 (NLT)

The things of this world are fleeting, but the Lord Almighty, and He only, will determine our eternal destiny. Therefore, don’t be concerned with such trivial superstitions as the random occurrence of the number 666.

Conclusion

Ultimately, the true meaning of the number 666 will not become apparent until the Great Tribulation, when the Antichrist forces the world population to accept the number as a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. Contemporary attempts to calculate this number ahead of time as either the name of a person, human beings, or the revived Roman Empire, will only lead to frustration. Even worse, these attempts may end up having a negative impact in that, once proved false, they will damage the credibility of those who teach end times bible prophecy in general. If the devil can convince the world that bible prophecy is the exclusive domain of crackpots and conspiracy theorists, then he can snatch away a valuable tool for spreading the Gospel of Christ.

In the end, it is the duty of our generation to carefully examine the meaning of Revelation 13:16-18 and convey an accurate historical interpretation of these verses for others. If we succeed, the end times generation will have the ability to properly interpret the number of the beast. Because once the Antichrist arrives on the world scene and announces his intention to require the mark, it will become clear to everyone on earth what acceptance of this number really means. Pertanyaan ini pantas timbul, karena Kanjeng Ratu Kidul termasuk makhluk halus. Hidupnya di alam limunan (gaib), dansukar untuk dibuktikan dengan nyata. Pada umumnya oarang mengenalnya hanya dari tutur kata dan dari semua cerita atau kata orang ini, orang itu, bila dikumpulkan akan menjadi seperti berikut:

Menurut cerita umum, Kanjeng Ratu Kidul pada mudanya bernama Dewi Retna Suwida, seorang putri dari Pajajaran, anak Prabu Mundhingsari, dari istrinya yang bernama Dewi Sarwedi, cucu Sang Hyang Saranadi, cicit Raja siluman di Sigaluh.Sang putri melarikan diri dari keraton dan bertapa di gunung Kombang. Mr Welter, seorang warga belanda yang dahulu menjadi Wakil ketua Raad van Indie, menerangkan bahwa tatkala ia masih menjadi kontrolir di Kepanjen, pernah melihat upacara sesaji tahunan di Ngliyep, salah satu pesisir pantai selatan, Jawa timur, yang khusus diadakan untuk Nyai rara kidul. Ditunjukkannya gambar sebuah rumah kecil dengan bilik di dalamnya berisi tempat peraduan dengan sesaji punjungan untuk Nyai Rara Kidul.

Seorang perwira ALRI yang sering mengadakan latihan didaerah ngliyep menerangkan bahwa di pulau kecil sebelah timur ngliyep memang masih terdapat sebuah rumah kecil, tetapi kosong saja sekarang. Apakah rumah ini terlukis gambar Tuan Welter, belumlah dapat dipastikan.

Pengalaman seorang kenalan dari Malang menyebutkan bahwa pada tajun 1955 pernah ada serombongan oran-orang yang nenepi (pergi ke tempat-tempat sepi dan keramat) dipulau karang kecil, sebelah timur Ngliyep.

Seorang diantara mereka adalah gurunya. Dengan cara tanpa busana mereka bersemedi disitu. Apa yang kemudian terjadi ialah, bahwa sang guru mendapat kemben, tanpa diketahui dari siapa asalnya. Yang dapat diceritakannya ialah bahwa ia merasa melihat sebuah rumah emas yang lampunya bersinar-sinar terang sekali.

Dipacitan ada kepercayaan larangan untuk memakai pakaian berwarna hijau gadung (hijau lembayung), yang erat hubungannya dengan Nyai Rara Kidul. Bila ini dilanggar orang akan mendapat bencana. Ini di buktikan denga terjadinya suatu malapetaka yang menimpa suami-istri bangsa belanda beserta dua orang anaknya. Mereka bukan saja tidak percaya pada larangan tersebut, bahkan mengejek dan mencemoohkannya. Pergilah mereka kepantai dengan berpakaian serba hijau. Terjadilah sesuatu yang mengejutkan, karena tiba-tiba ombak besar datang dan dan kembalinya kelaut sambil menyambar keempat orang belanda tersebut.

Artikel 2

Di suatu masa, hiduplah seorang putri cantik bernama Kadita. Karena kecantikannya, ia pun dipanggil Dewi Srengenge yang berarti matahari yang indah. Dewi Srengenge adalah anak dari Raja Munding Wangi. Meskipun sang raja mempunyai seorang putri yang cantik, ia selalu bersedih karena sebenarnya ia selalu berharap mempunyai anak laki-laki. Raja pun kemudian menikah dengan Dewi Mutiara, dan mendapatkan putra dari perkimpoian tersebut. Maka, bahagialah sang raja.

Dewi Mutiara ingin agar kelak putranya itu menjadi raja, dan ia pun berusaha agar keinginannya itu terwujud. Kemudian Dewi Mutiara datang menghadap raja, dan meminta agar sang raja menyuruh putrinya pergi dari istana. Sudah tentu raja menolak. "Sangat menggelikan. Saya tidak akan membiarkan siapapun yang ingin bertindak kasar pada putriku", kata Raja Munding Wangi. Mendengar jawaban itu, Dewi Mutiara pun tersenyum dan berkata manis sampai raja tidak marah lagi kepadanya. Tapi walaupun demikian, dia tetap berniat mewujudkan keinginannya itu.

Pada pagi harinya, sebelum matahari terbit, Dewi Mutiara mengutus pembantunya untuk memanggil seorang dukun. Dia ingin sang dukun mengutuk Kadita, anak tirinya. "Aku ingin tubuhnya yang cantik penuh dengan kudis dan gatal-gatal. Bila engkau berhasil, maka aku akan memberikan suatu imbalan yang tak pernah kau bayangkan sebelumnya." Sang dukun menuruti perintah sang ratu. Pada malam harinya, tubuh Kadita telah dipenuhi dengan kudis dan gatal-gatal. Ketika dia terbangun, dia menyadari tubuhnya berbau busuk dan dipenuhi dengan bisul. Puteri yang cantik itu pun menangis dan tak tahu harus berbuat apa.

Ketika Raja mendengar kabar itu, beliau menjadi sangat sedih dan mengundang banyak tabib untuk menyembuhkan penyakit putrinya. Beliau sadar bahwa penyakit putrinya itu tidak wajar, seseorang pasti telah mengutuk atau mengguna-gunainya. Masalah pun menjadi semakin rumit ketika Ratu Dewi Mutiara memaksanya untuk mengusir puterinya. "Puterimu akan mendatangkan kesialan bagi seluruh negeri," kata Dewi Mutiara. Karena Raja tidak menginginkan puterinya menjadi gunjingan di seluruh negeri, akhirnya beliau terpaksa menyetujui usul Ratu Mutiara untuk mengirim putrinya ke luar dari negeri itu.

Puteri yang malang itu pun pergi sendirian, tanpa tahu kemana harus pergi. Dia hampir tidak dapat menangis lagi. Dia memang memiliki hati yang mulia. Dia tidak menyimpan dendam kepada ibu tirinya, malahan ia selalu meminta agar Tuhan mendampinginya dalam menanggung penderitaan..

Hampir tujuh hari dan tujuh malam dia berjalan sampai akhirnya tiba di Samudera Selatan. Dia memandang samudera itu. Airnya bersih dan jernih, tidak seperti samudera lainnya yang airnya biru atau hijau. Dia melompat ke dalam air dan berenang. Tiba-tiba, ketika air Samudera Selatan itu menyentuh kulitnya, mukjizat terjadi. Bisulnya lenyap dan tak ada tanda-tanda bahwa dia pernah kudisan atau gatal-gatal. Malahan, dia menjadi lebih cantik daripada sebelumnya. Bukan hanya itu, kini dia memiliki kuasa untuk memerintah seisi Samudera Selatan. Kini ia menjadi seorang peri yang disebut Nyi Roro Kidul atau Ratu Pantai Samudera Selatan yang hidup selamanya.

Kanjeng Ratu Kidul = Ratna Suwinda

Tersebut dalam Babad Tanah Jawi (abad ke-19), seorang pangeran dari Kerajaan Pajajaran, Joko Suruh, bertemu dengan seorang pertapa yang memerintahkan agar dia menemukan Kerajaan Majapahit di Jawa Timur. Karena sang pertapa adalah seorang wanita muda yang cantik, Joko Suruh pun jatuh cinta kepadanya. Tapi sang pertapa yang ternyata merupakan bibi dari Joko Suruh, bernama Ratna Suwida, menolak cintanya. Ketika muda, Ratna Suwida mengasingkan diri untuk bertapa di sebuah bukit. Kemudian ia pergi ke pantai selatan Jawa dan menjadi penguasa spiritual di sana. Ia berkata kepada pangeran, jika keturunan pangeran menjadi penguasa di kerajaan yang terletak di dekat Gunung Merapi, ia akan menikahi seluruh penguasa secara bergantian.

Generasi selanjutnya, Panembahan Senopati, pendiri Kerajaan Mataram Ke-2, mengasingkan diri ke Pantai Selatan, untuk mengumpulkan seluruh energinya, dalam upaya mempersiapkan kampanye militer melawan kerajaan utara. Meditasinya menarik perhatian Kanjeng Ratu Kidul dan dia berjanji untuk membantunya. Selama tiga hari dan tiga malam dia mempelajari rahasia perang dan pemerintahan, dan intrik-intrik cinta di istana bawah airnya, hingga akhirnya muncul dari Laut Parangkusumo, kini Yogyakarta Selatan. Sejak saat itu, Ratu Kidul dilaporkan berhubungan erat dengan keturunan Senopati yang berkuasa, dan sesajian dipersembahkan untuknya di tempat ini setiap tahun melalui perwakilan istana Solo dan Yogyakarta.

Begitulah dua buah kisah atau legenda mengenai Kanjeng Ratu Kidul, atau Nyi Roro Kidul, atau Ratu Pantai Selatan. Versi pertama diambil dari buku Cerita Rakyat dari Yogyakarta dan versi yang kedua terdapat dalam Babad Tanah Jawi. Kedua cerita tersebut memang berbeda, tapi anda jangan bingung. Anda tidak perlu pusing memilih, mana dari keduanya yang paling benar. Cerita-cerita di atas hanyalah sebuah pengatar bagi tulisan selanjutnya.

Kanjeng Ratu Kidul dan Keraton Yogyakarta

Percayakah anda dengan cerita tentang Kanjeng Ratu Kidul, atau Nyi Roro Kidul, atau Ratu Pantai Selatan? Sebagian dari anda mungkin akan berkata TIDAK. Tapi coba tanyakan kepada mereka yang hidup dalam zaman atau lingkungan Keraton Yogyakarta. Mereka yakin dengan kebenaran cerita ini. Kebenaran akan cerita Kanjeng Ratu Kidul memang masih tetap menjadi polemik. Tapi terlepas dari polemik tersebut, ada sebuah fenomena yang nyata, bahwa mitos Ratu Kidul memang memiliki relevansi dengan eksistensi Keraton Yogyakarta. Hubungan antara Kanjeng Ratu Kidul dengan Keraton Yogyakarta paling tidak tercantum dalam Babad Tanah Jawi (cerita tentang kanjeng Ratu Kidul di atas, versi kedua). Hubungan seperti apa yang terjalin di antara keduanya?

Y. Argo Twikromo dalam bukunya berjudul Ratu Kidul menyebutkan bahwa masyarakat adalah sebuah komunitas tradisi yang mementingkan keharmonisan, keselarasan dan keseimbangan hidup. Karena hidup ini tidak terlepas dari lingkungan alam sekitar, maka memfungsikan dan memaknai lingkungan alam sangat penting dilakukan.

Sebagai sebuah hubungan komunikasi timbal balik dengan lingkungan yang menurut masyarakat Jawa mempunyai kekuatan yang lebih kuat, masih menurut Twikromo, maka penggunaan simbol pun sering diaktualisasikan. Jika dihubungkan dengan makhluk halus, maka Javanisme mengenal penguasa makhluk halus seperti penguasa Gunung Merapi, penguasa Gunung Lawu, Kayangan nDelpin, dan Laut Selatan. Penguasa Laut Selatan inilah yang oleh orang Jawa disebut Kanjeng Ratu Kidul. Keempat penguasa tersebut mengitari Kesultanan Yogyakarta. Dan untuk mencapai keharmonisan, keselarasan dan keseimbangan dalam masyarakat, maka raja harus mengadakan komunikasi dengan "makhluk-makhluk halus" tersebut.

Menurut Twikromo, bagi raja Jawa berkomunikasi dengan Ratu Kidul adalah sebagai salah satu kekuatan batin dalam mengelola negara. Sebagai kekuatan datan kasat mata (tak terlihat oleh mata), Kanjeng Ratu Kidul harus dimintai restu dalam kegiatan sehari-hari untuk mendapatkan keselamatan dan ketenteraman.

Kepercayaan terhadap Ratu Kidul ini diaktualisasikan dengan baik. Pada kegiatan labuhan misalnya, sebuah upacara tradisional keraton yang dilaksanakan di tepi laut di selatan Yogyakarta, yang diadakan tiap ulang tahun Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono, menurut perhitungan tahun Saka (tahun Jawa). Upacara ini bertujuan untuk kesejahteraan sultan dan masyarakat Yogyakarta.

Kepercayaan terhadap Kanjeng Ratu Kidul juga diwujudkan lewat tari Bedaya Lambangsari dan Bedaya Semang yang diselenggarakan untuk menghormati serta memperingati Sang Ratu. Bukti lainnya adalah dengan didirikannya sebuah bangunan di Komplek Taman Sari (Istana di Bawah Air), sekitar 1 km sebelah barat Keraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat, yang dinamakan Sumur Gumuling. Tempat ini diyakini sebagai tempat pertemuan sultan dengan Ratu Pantai Selatan, Kanjeng Ratu Kidul.

Penghayatan mitos Kanjeng Ratu Kidul tersebut tidak hanya diyakini dan dilaksanakan oleh pihak keraton saja, tapi juga oleh masyarakat pada umumnya di wilayah kesultanan. Salah satu buktinya adalah adanya kepercayaan bahwa jika orang hilang di Pantai Parangtritis, maka orang tersebut hilang karena "diambil" oleh sang Ratu.

Selain Keraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat, mitos Kanjeng Ratu Kidul juga diyakini oleh saudara mereka, Keraton Surakarta Hadiningrat. Dalam Babad Tanah Jawi memang disebutkan bahwa Kanjeng Ratu Kidul pernah berjanji kepada Panembahan Senopati, penguasa pertama Kerajaan Mataram, untuk menjaga Kerajaan Mataram, para sultan, keluarga kerajaan, dan masyarakat dari malapetaka. Dan karena kedua keraton (Yogyakarta dan Surakarta) memiliki leluhur yang sama (Kerajaan Mataram), maka seperti halnya Keraton Yogyakarta, Keraton Surakarta juga melaksanakan berbagai bentuk penghayatan mereka kepada Kanjeng Ratu Kidul. Salah satunya adalah pementasan tari yang paling sakral di keraton, Bedoyo Ketawang, yang diselenggarakan setahun sekali pada saat peringatan hari penobatan para raja. Sembilan orang penari yang mengenakan pakaian tradisional pengantin Jawa mengundang Ratu Kidul untuk datang dan menikahi susuhunan, dan kabarnya sang Ratu kemudian secara gaib muncul dalam wujud penari kesepuluh yang nampak berkilauan.

Kepercayaan terhadap Ratu Kidul ternyata juga meluas sampai ke daerah Jawa Barat. Anda pasti pernah mendengar, bahwa ada sebuah kamar khusus (nomor 308) di lantai atas Samudera Beach Hotel, Pelabuhan Ratu, yang disajikan khusus untuk Ratu Kidul. Siapapun yang ingin bertemu dengan sang Ratu, bisa masuk ke ruangan ini, tapi harus melalui seorang perantara yang menyajikan persembahan buat sang Ratu. Pengkhususan kamar ini adalah salah satu simbol 'gaib' yang dipakai oleh mantan presiden Soekarno.

Sampai sekarang, di masa yang sangat modern ini, legenda Kanjeng Ratu Kidul, atau Nyi Roro Kidul, atau Ratu Pantai Selatan, adalah legenda yang paling spektakuler. Bahkan ketika anda membaca kisah ini, banyak orang dari Indonesia atau negara lain mengakui bahwa mereka telah bertemu ratu peri yang cantik mengenakan pakaian tradisional Jawa. Salah satu orang yang dikabarkan juga pernah menyaksikan secara langsung wujud sang Ratu adalah sang maestro pelukis Indonesia, (almarhum) Affandi. Pengalamannya itu kemudian ia tuangkan dalam sebuah lukisan.

Yth para sahabat yang baik hati,

Perkenankanlah saya untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang siapa Kanjeng Ratu Kidul sesungguhnya, agar dapat dipahami dengan sebenarnya, dan ini sudah menjadi bagian dari tugas saya untuk menyampaikannya.

Memang seperti yang dilontarkan oleh beberapa teman2, bahwa Kanjeng Ratu Segara (Samudra) Kidul (Selatan) adalah identik dengan Nyi Roro Kidul (Ratu Pantai Selatan), tetapi oleh Ki Wiku Wirasakti (guru kami, yang sering mendapatkan dawuh dari Kanjeng Ratu Segara Kidul), telah dijelaskan kepada kami bahwa sesungguhnya adalah BERBEDA, Kanjeng Ratu Segara Kidul adalah mahluk Allah SWT yang ditugaskan langsung untuk menjaga keseimbangan alam semesta dimuka bumi khususnya wilayah Nusantara.

Beliau (sejak puluhan ribu tahun lalu) kebetulan bermukim di Istana/Keraton Samudra Selatan (40 km ke arah selatan dari pantai Parangkusumo, Bantul-DIY), bentuk bangunan istananya cukup sederhana, terbentuk dari batu karang yang kokoh, dengan diterangi cahaya hijau pupus yang berasal dari pancaran sinar abadi batu giok dihiasi ornamen relief ukiran pada tembok serta singgasana yang indah didalam keraton namun terkesan sangat berwibawa, di sekitar bangunan terdapat kolam dengan air muncar yang bening dan tidak pernah surut airnya, serta dikellilingi oleh taman yang asri, disamping bangunan keraton,terdapat sebuah mesjid namanya Mesjid Soko Tunggal (seperti mesjid yang mirip ada didalam di Keraton Yogya-mengikuti bentuk aslinya) , tempat Beliau melakukan sholat dan tirakat secara teratur.

Kemudian, di sekitar keraton terdapat bangunan perpustakaan yang cukup luas, untuk menyimpan benda2 yang sangat tak ternilai harganya, seperti Keris, Tombak, Pedang, Kitab Lontar, Batu Permata, Mustika dan lain2.

Istana/Keraton tersebut tertutup dengan ghaib (seperti hijab) atas ijin Allah SWT sehingga tidak dapat dipandang oleh mata manusia, namun hanya kepada segelintir orang tertentu yang mempunyai jiwa dan pikiran yang bersih (bukan untuk diperagakan atau dipertunjukkan kepada orang lain), serta kekuatan hati yang tulus damai, insha Allah atas ijin Nya juga, tentu diperkenankan untuk melihatnya.

Perlu dijelaskan lagi, bahwa Kanjeng Ratu Segara Kidul, sejak keberadaannya, tidak akan pernah memiliki suami atau pasangan apalagi keturunan seperti mahluk ciptaan Allah lainnya, Beliau adalah tunggal dan selalu tidak pernah putus dari air wudhunya (selalu suci). Jadi cerita atau legenda yang mengabarkan bahwa beliau pernah menikah dengan raja2 di jawa (seperti Panembahan Senopati, Sri Sultan HB IX, Bung Karno, dll) adalah tidak benar adanya, yang benar adalah bahwa raja2 di jawa sejak jaman dahulu selalu berkunjung dan berupaya bertemu dengan Beliau untuk mendapatkan dawuh/pesan atau bimbingan dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai kepala pemerintahan disamping pesan agar selalu menyembah serta berkomunikasi, memohon doa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa dan Maha Pencipta untuk diberikan keselamatan dan kesehatan. Jadi tujuan kunjungan para raja tersbut adalah bukan untuk memperoleh kekayaan atau materi di dunia.

Kemudian, setelah pertemuan tersebut, untuk menghormati keberadaan serta kebajikan Kanjeng Ratu Segara Kidul, biasanya para raja tersebut memperoleh pesan untuk mempermudah komunikasi dengan Kanjeng Ratu agar selalu menuliskan nama seperti Putri Kencana Wungu dan lain lain (akan dijelaskan pada kesempatan lain).

Sementara, Nyi Roro Kidul adalah mahluk jin ciptaan Allah SWT juga yang bermukim di pantai (daratan) selatan Pulau Jawa, beliau mendapatkan amanah kekuasaan dan segala aturan serta tanggung jawabnya dari Kanjeng Ratu Segara Kidul untuk menjaga keseimbangan wilayah sekitar daratan pantai selatan, kemudian aturan2 tersebut disampaikan selanjutnya melalui pesan kepada seorang juru kunci atau sesepuh dan keturunannya (yang dapat berkomunikasi langsung) agar selalu menjaga nilai2 luhur budaya yang telah disepakati, termasuk tata cara berpakaian, sopan santun dan tutur kata yang baik. Sehingga bila ada manusia yang konon kebetulan menjadi korban kecelakaan terseret arus kemudian tenggelam di laut adalah akibat dari tindakan kecerobohan manusia itu sendiri, yang mungkin saat sebelumnya terjadi kecelakaan sudah melakukan hal-hal yang kurang baik sehingga secara takdir memang harus demikian jalan ceritanya.

The bleeding Mary hit bullet nell' hip and it have fallen to the earth. The angry citizens have jumped on she they have newly transported and it within the field, in which they have developed an enormous bonfire they have burnt and it to the pole. While it has burnt, bleeding Mary has screaied a maledizione to the countrymen. If anyone pointed out to high voice its name before a mirror, would transmit its spirit in order to be revenged on they for its dead women terrible. When it was out of order, the countrymen have gone to the house in the wood and that they have found that tombe the not marked of the children diabolic witch had assassinated. He had used their spirit in order to still make its young people. Beginning from that day to this, anyone enough foolish chant Mary' bleeding; the name of s three times before a scurito mirror will assemble the vendicativo spirit of the witch. It is said that it will tear their bodies to the parts and will tear their spirit from their bodies cripples.
